So it's Funday Sunday - you know the kind of Sunday where it is so beautiful outside all you want to do is grill, hang out with friends and enjoy the sunshine! I'm taking a quick break from all the fun to write to you as I wait for my steaks to finish thawing so I can go grill up some dinner!
This weekend was a busy and fun one if you were here at the Hurst! On Friday night we kicked of Springfest Weekend with a Concert headlined by the Plain White T's not to mention opened by our very own The Romantic Era! Then on Saturday, it was the luau and barbecue out in Garvey Park! They had food, inflatables, games, prizes and a generally awesome time had by all! Springfest is definitely everyone's favorite weekend on Campus. And today is the perfect way to end a great weekend!
Also on Saturday morning we hosted 'Junior Day' here on campus for prospective High School Juniors. This is where Juniors and their families could come to Mercyhurst, tour the campus, go to a student panel and meet professors and clubs on campus! So hopefully if you are a Junior you made it out, but if you didn't you can always schedule a tour here at Mercyhurst by just calling Admissions!
So I'm back off to enjoy the rest of the sunshine and get some dinner!
